Wow! Finally someone is going to tackle bringing my favourite book of all time, Atlas Shrugged, to the big screen. At more than 1,100 pages long it will certainly make an interesting adaption to the screen. More interesting is the rumoured casting and how upset people are over it.

Angelina Jolie as Dangy Taggart and Brad Pitt as John Galt. Jolie-Pitt are known fans of Rand's work and I personally think they would be wonderful as Dangy and John.

I'm more concerned about how you take the *meaning* of such a long and great novel and script it into a movie without losing what makes many of re-read that book time and time again.
